I received a strong foundation of cut and color at the Aveda Institute of Austin, Texas. Then continued my education through advanced balayage courses and countless hours of cutting classes. I was a braid specialist at Jose Luis Salon in Austin. In 2016, I moved to a salon in Colleyville, Texas, where I continued as a braid specialist and became the salon manager. After years of managing, I decided to pursue my dream of opening my own salon and Willow Sage was created. I have the utmost respect for the integrity of hair and I am dedicated to make all hair as healthy and luxurious as possible. Native to Texas, growing up in Grand Prairie, I have recently moved back to the metroplex after 10 years of styling hair in Seattle, WA. If not more time, then shortcuts. I found myself more and more involved in conversations about beauty hacks, hair color, and how-to's. I found so much joy in helping other women feel good about themselves. This excitement led me to my calling of becoming a hairstylist I am a blonde guru and loves talking & building relationships with her clients. Everyone deserves to feel pampered and to feel heard. Being devoted to perpetual refinement of my profession, I've accrued a very notable forte with men’s haircuts and styling, and color .. from highlights and balayage to root gray coverage and corrective colors! After spending 16 summers working on Nantucket, where life is enjoyed outdoors, I have aced techniques for creating gorgeous, bouncy blow dries which last for days. Much of my time on Nantucket was also spent leading the hair and makeup department and as a line producer for production companies. I have earned IMDb credit and was utilized on the sets and screens of many productions, including HBO, MTV, Mary Kay Industrial Film, Tony & Guy video department, as well a film in which she worked with Jacqueline Bissett and Maria Guerrero, titled Peter and Jon.
